What a Character!

I got an email today from my Dad saying he missed seeing pictures fo Casey on the blog! I had lost my camera charger for what felt like a million years so I've really been bad about taking pictures. But we found it over the weekend in my laptop case. So here is Casey today in all of her cuteness. She loves to sit on this first step and look at books or go poop.

Today, when I went in her room after her nap, this is what I found. Shirt around her head and pants off. HAHAHA. She never ceases to amaze me. We both got a good laugh out of this and then I ran downstairs to get the camera. She cracks me up. You can also see the damage she has done to her blinds on the window. She's completely ruined them and we have decided to rearrange her room, hopefully this weekend.

So far so good 2010!

Well we are only in to a few weeks of 2010 and already it has shown to be pretty good. In my last blog I talked about losing my job at Purcell Murray in the beginning of 2009. Well the beginning of 2010 brought my job at Purcell Murray back to me. Although now I will be doing a different job and working in the corporate office up her in Northern California, I dont care! I am so super excited about it.

Last Monday, my old boss emailed me and told me that there was an opening up here and if I was interested she thought I'd be great for it. So I immediatly sent my resume over, got an email back the next morning and met with them last Friday. I heard from them yesterday that they would love to have me back so almost a year to the date of getting laid off... I'm going back! It's like I took a years sabatical!

I have to say that as heartbreaking as it was to lose my job with them, it really was a blessing in disguise to be home with my amazing little girl for the first 15 months of her life. We've had so much fun together and watching her grow and do new things has been one of my greatest joys in life.

But I am VERY excited to go back to work. We have found a daycare and Casey already test played and loved the kids. She was mad when we made her leave!

Anyway, Casey and I will be flying down to So Cal next week for her 15 month appointment and to visit with family and our friends before Momma goes back to work. Because who knows when we'll be able to come back down after I start back!
